Wordless Wednesdays -Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!!!

I just recently got back from a trip to Colorado, visitng my son and his family. We took two of my granddaughters with us from New York and all of us went to Vail and Beaver Creek for a few days. Though the temperatures were frigid, hovering from 30 below to 10 above for the time that we were there, it didn't stop us from having a grand time. The snow was plentiful and the views were amazing.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.... T

The air was dry, there were no winds and the sun was shining brightly. We dressed for the weather and headed for the slopes. We're not skiers (I know, what a waste!) but we did lots of sledding, snowtubing, snowshoeing and ice skating.
Everyone had a great time!!

Vickie - The condo's where we stayed have radiant heated walkways and plows do the drives.

Joni - It was loads of fun, even without the skiing.

Tim - there's been much too much of it this season. No chance to forget it.

Melissa - that was the best part - spending time with the kids and enjoying watching all the grandkids bonding. Loved it!

Tish - It was the best and the views were the greatest.

Chris - you can have some of ours anytime. It's only a treat is you don't have to do the cleanup.

That amount of snow makes our little dusting the other day seem like a joke. But, I can't believe no one was out enjoying it. I wonder why that is, was it just too cold?

Maya - I'd be happy to be there in the sunshine too.

Scott - Good for you but coming from NY we're not used to those 30 below temps.

Rebecca - We've had a couple of warm days in NY followed by blistery winds today, with snow predicted (again) later this week. I'm haveing a hard time believing that spring may actually come.

Todd - We wouldn't let the kids spend much time outdoors until the temps hit above zero. When we went from 30 belosw to 5 above, that felt like a heatwave!

Glorai, I would have loved to go skiing but I tore a ligament in my knee last winter that's just finally heeled and was not willing to try it under the circumstances. Had a great time and lots of fun anyway!
