Here some clear and easy ways to help create a sense of urgency in buyers -
1. Send them daily updates on interest rates for loans - they are rising!
2. Send them homes selling in their area daily. Most people seem to lose a few homes before they actually learn the drill and get a home.
3. Show them how prices in their area are inching upward.
4. Show them how inventory in their area is declining.
5. Show how buying a home sooner rather than later is financially beneficial to the buyer - tax deductions, security, equity
People are very selective now and no rush. They do need to move forward with their home purchase or a few years from now, they will be talking the year 2011 when they should have bought a house.
