New Sonoma Real Estate Listings Snapped Up!
There is pent up demand for Sonoma homes. No doubt about it. Two properties that hit the market just this week have quickly gone into escrow. One...a remodeled Sonoma Craftsman priced at $895,000...had an accepted offer on it just hours after it appeared on the MLS. I stopped by on Thursday morning broker tour and saw that quite a few agents from other brokerages had been there, too. (Your eyes are fine. I intentionally blurred the focus on these business cards ... I don't need to be advertising my competitors!) The listing agent, a friend of mine, says the buyers flew up from Rancho Mirage to look at the house and immediately made an offer the seller could not refuse. The house is very nice...an award-winning renovation that received kudos from the Sonoma League for Historic Preservation.
It was raining like mad during tour and I just got a few pix.
The other listing that went quickly into escrow is a 1962 Ranch-style home priced at $325,000. It's a well-maintained 3bedroom/2bath single level gussied up with a fresh coat of yellow paint. New listings were few again this week with just five others that remain untied up:
- 3bed/2bath Sonoma condo blocks from Sonoma Plaza for $309,000
- 2bed/2bath Sonoma condo with pool "stylishly remodeled" for $399,000
- 2bed/2bath Sonoma single level home in an adult +55 community for $489,000
- 4bed/2bath Glen Ellen country property with artist studio and backyard creek for $995,000.
- 3bed/3bath single level Spanish Mediterranean on Sonoma's rural eastside for $1,295,000.
