Managing Real Estate Broker with Colorado Western Group

Who did they find and who are they calling?  Is the agent qualified?  Is the agent happy in their job?   Is the agent knowledgeable of their area?

INTERESTING STORY:  This buyer had their dream and a job transfer.  Found a brokerage, called and reached an agent, who proceeded to (in their words) paint a "bleak" picture of our area.

After several phone calls and negative assistance they found us and wanted to speak to the broker, not another agent.  Long and short of it..........they came out; we toured; they told me of the agent and then proceeded to say that they tried, yet another agent, who also gave a negative report for the new area they were moving to.  Remember, a JOB TRANSFER, and in the buyer's own words "a sure thing".  THEY NEEDED TO BUY A HOME.

  HAPPY ENDING!

I wonder how many on A.R. would admit to blowing potiental clients off? Or course everyone is a hero in their own minds. But you know me - I'll take 'em out and show them property!

Donna,  sometimes sales people need to "shut up and make the sale".  I have seen all the work done on a deal and then have the salesperson fail to ask for the sale, when it was obvious to me it was there for the taking.

Lately we have been looking for deals because thay are scarce...if a ready, willing and able client calls you and wants your help, consider yourself lucky.

Hi Stephen, absolutely right.....I could not believe this buyer had to go through 2-agents who, obviously are lacking in ability to recognize a buyer needing assistance...HENCE..."a sure thing".  Thanks for responding to this post.

Donna,

I don't, but I can't imagine I would have had that attitude talking on the phone to BUYERS who were moving to my area!  It's sad but true: everyone is in charge of their own attitude, and we all make decisions daily that affect our attitude.

Thanks for the comment, Carol.  You're right, and if someone has a bad attitude (new or triggered) about their own community, seems that maybe Real Estate, is the wrong gig.
