I told her I would have to research this Nick Logan person and topagent.com and that's when she said that the site hadn't actually launched yet... Questions: 1. Who the heck is Nick Logan and how does he have my name? 2. I went to topagent.com while on the phone with her and it was for a Re/Max agent? Is the site being converted to the site she's referencing in her call to me today? 3. Anyone else been approached by these people? Is this legit? For some reason I smell a scam of some sort...Of course I can be an overly cautious person at times, so maybe I'm wrong... Thought I'd put this out there in case others are receiving the same calls and wondering what's going on...If they are legit, please feel free to clue me in...I may have missed out on the most important call of my RE Career.
who says Nick Logan with topagent.com referred her to me???? She said it so fast I was trying to process the name as she's running through this speil about advertising on TV with my name and phone number on the ad...It's supposed to make buyers/sellers put a face with a name so they feel more comfortable calling me than looking for someone via other methods. She said something about I get one free area, that I can refer other agents, and the rep would be in Indy on Monday to give me all the information...Of course that's all the info they can give you over the phone, you have to get pulled into something before they tell you "you can receive maximum exposure for a mere arm and a leg, and quite possibly your first born child."
Run! Why do you think they talk so fast? I think if you're taking the webinars here on AR and optimizing you're 'Google-ability' you probably will do just as well! People will promise the moon if you just wanna pay for it...
Yes, they have called me. I just said 'NO' but they continue to call and email. I would not do business with them.
I hang up when there is a sales call for Realtors. We spend enough money on marketing. Move on
Chanda Panda ditch em! Never heard of them and notice to Nick, don't call me!!
Most, if not all these marketing calls are just that, marketing calls. What annoys me, is they start with "I saw you online...." And then go on to offer to increase my exposure online.... Hello! You found me didn't you. I had one say that I was on page 7. I am sure I am on page 7 for some search term. Probably not the one I am after.
These calls are so annoying! I have come to realize that even if I am truly polite and quietly get them off hte phone, they have taken me off track and I have lost my place and momentum. It gets so I don't want to take random calls anymore, half of them are these crappy calls. Ugh!
I agree. I received waaaay too many "sales" calls yesterday...Even saying "No, thank you" they still persist...It's wasting my time and my money and annoys me to no end. I know they are supposed to get there "3 no's", but to me it turns me off completely and I'll probably NEVER want to hear about their product when they use that tactic on me.
Rindy, thanks for posting your comment. I hope others will stumble onto your comment if these people are still running the scam.
