My Favorite Walking Trail In Fremont, Quarry Lakes Regional Park

For those looking for a great place to walk your furry friend, mine is a white Shepard named Koda, we have been walking and running and sharing the trails at Quarry Lake for quite some time!  It is a great place to unwind from a hectic day, or get your blood flowing in preparation for a hectic day!

Koda and I first warm up outside the park which allows him to run free and sniff the smells and meet new friends.  I enjoy seeing him sneak up to a new furry friend in hopes she or he will want to play a bit.  Koda is only 8 months old and needs lots of friends and exercise!  Once we walk the trail which extends from Coyote Hills to Mission Blvd. we enter into the Quarry Lakes Regional Park where leashes are required!  Don't forget as the little green trucks are always catching you by surprise!  It can be a hefty fine if they decide to do so!

Quarry Lakes Fremont Hiking Trail

There are many birds, native plants, and scenery to make any one share a smile with the other walkers/runners sharing the trails.  I have found the early mornings when the sun is just peeking over the mountains one of my favorite times of the day.  It's extremely quiet and calm, not to mention brisk!  Dress warm!  Check out this amazing place we have in Fremont and say hello as you pass by a gal with a white German Shepard, say "Hello".

Kimberly, chances are that I will never walk that trail to say hello. We did walk many of the trails in Marin and out in the Point Reyes area before our move to Seattle. Take that Shepard out to those wonderful beaches some day.

Thanks Greg!  I most certainly will.  I tried to upload my photo but my computer is being a pain!  I have been to Point Reyes many years ago!  Thanks for the comment!
