New Caribbean Spot Opens on Houston St. in the Village

There is a new Caribbean joint in the neighborhood, Miss Lily’s, from Serge Becker of La Esquina fame.  It has taken over the space that Le Gamin previously called home and will hopefully bring some new life to the area.   If oxtail and fried plantains are what you’re

craving, they dish it out in a nouveau style and have some interesting additions like spiced pumpkin soup.   Not a bad spot for just beers either. . . Caribbean beers that is.
