Branding, being creative, drawing attention to your business - that is an important element in building our business.
We can no longer just show up to the office, answer the phone, hope for a walk-in to drive our business or to make a living at this career. We must look towards giving oneself an edge, look, show we are different and be remembered as that point of difference.
It begins with your personal look. That look should be a reflection of you and your style, it must be memorable. The name of your group, the logo, the color choices all are a reflection of you how you will be remembered. Catching attention at a first glance.
My daughter Jamie, who is a graphic designer in the Austin, Texas area designed this wonderful example of signage. Note the clever company name. Edgy colors that are subtle but pop, great logo which visually tells what type of business and dwelling they specialize in leasing.
Nothing more energizing than to freshen your business with a new image. It keeps you modern and makes a statement that you are creative. A personal logo, not company logo is highly advised. Use the expertise of a graphic designer as they know how to professionally capture what you seek and keep it refective of the proper fonts and colors, etc. They can assist with a great branding campaign. I saw a makeover of one of our local large companies that took a very traditional sign and created a more modern yet still elegant new look. It is helping the company grow from the image of older real estate professionals to attracting the younger agents. Same thing applies to you and your business, you don't want to look dated .. first impressions!
Have fun with your new look, give thought to what message you want to send and create an image that you will enjoy and reflects your business and YOU.
