I am pleased to announce that I am now a Certified Distressed Property Expert. This is additional training so I can help homeowners navigate their options if they owe more on their home than their home is worth. I can now help homeowners who are in financial distress and don’t know where to turn, who may qualify for a short sale rather than endure a foreclosure. There is help available. CDPE’s are trained in how to analyse a homeowner’s financial picture and determine the best direction to take. This is a sensitive topic for many people who chose not to do anything, or think they know what their options are, or try to navigate this process on their own.
