QR code for home sweeter home

This afternoon, I took a Webinar on "Discovering QR Codes" and I found it so fascinating! As an old dog, it's been difficult for me with some of this new technology but I have to adapt if I want to be always one up in this real estate business.

Here are the steps I took to create my own code:

1. Visit www.qrcode.kaywa.com and enter in your url. The code generator will show your code and you can save it as a JPG file.

2. You can then order stickers of your code at www.stickerscan.com. I was able to order small code stickers for my business cards and weather proof stickers for my signs. All at $3.75!

YOU CAN TEACH AN OLD DOG NEW TRICKS!

Thanks for the links. Getting a QR code for me and my clients it on my action list. I have clients wanting to put one on their lawn signs-send passer-bys to their website, or the property website.

@Dennis, QR Codes are just another way to market your website and promote yourself on your marketing materials, signs, postcards and business cards.

@Conrad, it's so old dogs can play with "YOUNG" dogs! :)

@Joan, let me know if you need help.

@Raoul, you will start to see QR codes on more signage soon. Most people have smart phones and can just scan a code to pull up your website.
