The ReStore Thrift Store is located at 112 2nd Ave SW in Minot ND. Click on the link above for information on their programs including the thrift store. On each of my previous thrift store articles I've hit the high points of each store. The strong points of the ReStore are:

The ReStore supports Re-Hab services. Rehab services has many services that help the community. All money stays local.

The ReStore has one of, if not, the friendliest staff.

Very reasonable prices and if you think they are out of line they may agree to cut them on an item.

Good furnature selection most of the time.

A bag sale every 3rd Thursday (all the clothes you can stuff in a bag for $6.00).

Our bag sale (at the one thrift store that has them) is $8.00.  Still a bargain though.

Laura, It's amazing what one can fit into a bag if you are determined and what a buy as well. I've purchased suits, snowmobile suits, shoes and more at these sales. Of course the best is the children's clothes being they grow out of them so fast anyway.

I get a lot of compliments on my clothing and most everything I purchase comes from the thrift store.
