Mention AR in your headline and get featured!!

Don't get me wrong, I personally love Active Rain. However, it's probably not coincidence that if someone mentions Active Rain in their headline or first paragraph of their blog, that they will be featured! Sure it needs to be grammatical, but it's just odd that 3 or 4 feature blogs happen to be about "AR" and thats just today!

I think everyone recognizes the value of Active Rain, and I'm not complaining. But your chances of getting featured improve greatly when you write specifically about "AR". Perhaps we could just have a "we love AR" page for Active Rain testimonials and reduce the number of "I love AR because...." articles.

I can almost guarantee this one isn't going to be featured!

Don't get me wrong, I love "AR", BUT, if we can't poke fun of ourselves then we're in big trouble.

BTW...checked my statistics...this article has had more clicks and views within an hour then my previous article that has been posted for 5 days. I personally think my other article was much better, but I guess to each his own.

Karl, I hope you don't mind a dissenting opinion then. I really don't see AR moderators as behaving that way at all. There are many many many more featured posts that don't mention AR in the headline whatsover.

Kris, that maybe ultimately true, but it just seems to be the case lately. Earlier today their were 4 that had "AR" references in their title. I guess my estimate was unscientific, so I'll keep an actual record from this point. :)
