Hello everyone, I am the founder of the Real Estate and Taxes Group. Back in July, I wrote this post asking how many ActiveRain community members were interested in being part of a new group for real estate and taxes. I got a good response, and it was clear that there were many members out there like myself who were interested in exchanging ideas about how to save money on real estate and taxes.
I am glad to say that our group is alive and thriving. In the last two months, the number of posts and subscribers we have has more than doubled. I am starting to see that more members are participating and contributing valuable tips and information.
The majority of the ActiveRainers do not know our group exists, so I just want to throw the message out there again:
Anyone who owns property and pays taxes is welcome in our group - I'll bet there is something you can share with us that can help all of us out, and I'm sure you will find new things that you had never heard either. I've been involved in real estate and taxes for many years, and just yesterday, someone posted a tip that I had never heard of.
It feels good to know that there are other community members out there who are willing to share and exchange ideas to help others be more successful.
For you active people: you know who you are, you've done a great job. I thank you for your support.
For the rest of you: I have a place where you will be recognized. If you write something insightful, I will definitely feature your post. Forget about blogging for points. Do it for recognition. Trust me, all the members in our group recognize and appreciate posts from other members. That's because in my group, members read posts to learn. Unlike others, who will read your post and make a pointless comment for their 25 points (isn't that annoying?)
Our group doesn't have the largest quantity, but I can assure you that we have some of the best quality. Anyone who wants to be a part of this community is welcomed to join us. I look forward to our numbers growing!
