Surviving Your Serengeti : Which Kind of Animal Am I?
The Serengeti Plains of East Africa, a place unknown by so many humans, is the last sanctuary for the greatest concentration of wildlife remaining on earth, and the unique focus behind this book written by Stefan Swanepoel.
All who read the new book Surviving the Serengeti : 7 Skills to Master Business and in Life will encounter lessons to learn in life and possibly help them to rise above their adversities.
Do you think you know which animal you are? You can take a quiz by clicking on the "which animal are you?" read the first two chapters, visit the website, blog and Facebook page. I visited the Facebook page and sent this link there.
I chose to take the quiz before reading the first two chapters of the book because I immediately wanted to know which kind of animal I was. I was not surprised by the results at all as I have a tendency to be a compassionate person and will be more concerned with others before myself.
The Graceful Giraffe can vary in meaning from one person or situation to another, often depending upon the context in which it is used. Is this a gift, is it acquired, is it learned, or is it inherent?
I see it has an inner feeling of warmth towards another and wanting to do the best I can possibly do for them no matter what it entails. As a Registered Nurse for 32 years, compassion was natural for me. No matter what the situation, I cared for my patients like no other, and always to the best of my ability. As a Realtor, I care for my clients, the same, with compassion, always putting their needs first.
The Graceful Giraffe is my inner soul and who I am meant to be in this life.
