Check out my new blog Sunny Solano!

Solano County is located almost halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento and has everything you could want!  Benicia and Vallejo are at the south end of the county and border San Pablo and Grizzly Bay,Benicia marina both boasting incredible views, rolling hills and cool sea breezes!

Holding down the eastern border of Solano County is Rio Vista, a small town straddling the Sacramento Delta.  Rio Vista has a quiet, low-key feeling and plenty of budget friendly real estate available.

The north end of the county claims the quaint town of Winters.  As a gateway to Lake Berryessa, a lot of tourists don't take the time to enjoy the charming downtown and wonderful restaurants.

Another fantastic town in Solano County is Dixon.  This family friendly town is located within easy commuting distance to downtown Sacramento and has everything from tract homes to farm properties.

Smack in the middle of the county are Fairfield and VacavilleFairfield is the home of Travis Air Force Base  the famous Jelly Belly factory, where adults and kids alike can take a tour and see the candy making process at work.jelly belly

Vacaville also has a claim to fame with the shoppers delight, Vacaville Premium Outlets!  Both Vacaville and Fairfield offer residents fantastic amenities, reasonable housing prices, and award winning schools.

This is just a taste of what you will find on my new blog Sunny Solano!

Please come check it out, stay a while, and see why Solano County should be your next vacation stop!  If you get tempted to stay, I might know the name of a good realtor...
