Free Workshop - 7 ways to slash College Costs: An extremely popular free workshop is being held for the parent of college bound high school students during the month of October. Topics include: How to double or triple your eligibility for free grant money, the secret to sending your child to a private or UC school for less than the cost of a junior college, and the single biggest mistake that 9 out of 10 parents make when planning for college.

Field Trips: The Shasta State Historic Park will begin scheduling field trips for school groups early next month (October). Reservations can be made beginning at 9am on Oct. 3rd by calling the park at 530-243-8194 or 530-244-4493.
