Are You Being Video Taped When Showing Homes?

By
Real Estate Agent with Bev Groth Properties

We were yesterday!  After looking at a home in The Mayfair neighborhood in Denver, CO.  My clients noticed a small video camera on the ground recording us.  It made us feel slightly strange but okay because we weren't doing anything wrong.  I wonder how much this happens....probably more than we think!  What good feedback the sellers were getting if they could hear our voices!  Probably a good lesson to remember to be courteous when showing homes and respectful of other peoples property because you may be on video!

Todd,

That is quite strange.  I think it inhibits someone's communication about the home they are seeing, and was there a sign saying you are being videotaped?  This may have some legal implications.  A

Thanks Todd for the post. I wonder if the listing agent was aware this was happening. Could make some very interesting feedback!
