I had a consultation this past Sunday in City Island NY (settled in 1685), which for those unfamiliar, is located in the Bronx. This was a beautiful small island that had some great unique restaurants, cafes, and stores to check out. During the Summer, from what the locals have shared with me, City Island is "popping" with so much energy. If you are looking for an inexpensive day trip to take, City Island NY one place I recommend. I will be back when the whether is much warmer.
Walking around City Island New York, you come across some amazing Architecture that dates back to Colonial times. I ventured into the Marine Antique shop and bought a hand made row boat, love it :)
