Investing? Have you considered Auctions?

I have been searching and searching the MLS in hopes of finding a a great opportunity for my investor clients.  I'm not finding one.  What I am finding is that the margins between distressed properties and updated, renovated properties is so minimal.  I've explored various price points to see if we can make something happen at the higher end...not likely.

So, we're going to take a run at auctions.  I've worked with auctions a couple years ago, but did not realize all they have to offer.  I'm quite excited.  After registering with Williams Auction, Property Auction.com. and Auction.com, I have realized that there are continually opportunities to purchase significantly below value at auctions.

Let the buying begin!

I had a client a few years ago want to sell their home on an auction. We did set a minimum bid and felt so lucky to get an offer at minimum bid about 2 hours before the auction ended.

Kristen, I am going to watch to see what results you obtain.  At the only auction I attended, the property was sold for almost the same amount they were listed for in the MLS.
