We've Come a Long Way, Baby!

Services for Real Estate Pros with AnotherME, LLC

Before the days of computer technology being a Realtor was a lot harder to manage. For instance, does anyone remember the only way to view the MLS was by looking at an enormous book full of listings? And the only way to advertise listings was through the newspaper or magazines?

No one had ever heard of the World Wide Web, the Internet was a tennis term, Surfing was a water sport, a MacIntosh was a type of apple, Twitter was the sound a flock of birds made, Wi-Fi was the opposite of Hi-Fi and Social Networking was playing bingo on Wednesday nights at the American Legion.

Today, Agents and Brokers have the world at their fingertips, so I encourage all of you to "Compute in the Cloud". Let AnotherME help you to gain leads, build your brand and keep your name in front of the community.

And for fun, check out Top Design Magazine's Oldest Computer Ads!

So true, however, before the computer age, I think the buyers needed us more, sometimes now, I think we just look like a giant key.

Christopher,

Yes, you are a giant key... but a key with special powers for counseling, advising, providing resources and negotiating contracts!  Oh, and one that gently holds their hand during the process!

If I admit to remembering the books and  the adds it will show my age, but yes I remember them well. We have come along way, time just go so fast that I forget what improvements have been made. Really good post.

Maria - I hate to admit that I remember this stuff, too! Some of those old computer Ads were really funny to see today!
