Just Ask A Bird!

Real Estate Broker/Owner with Hello Realty NM Broker License 16161

Every now and then I see eye to eye with a bird. Especially, since this winter in Santa Fe has gone from cold to warm to artic cold to feeling almost like spring. Frankly, it is very confusing every morning to figure out just what to wear that I can wear all day. Birds do not have those thoughts. Their outerwear is unique to them. There is no shopping for spring clothes on their "to do" list.

Although it snowed yesterday for about an hour, Mother Nature came back to Santa Fe today with a new act of warm air. Fortunately, I arrived early for a listing appointment and had a moment to breathe. Then, some unexpected company flew in to my view and I discovered this bird had the same idea. Spring is on the way. Just ask a bird!

Stunning picture! We used to live in Angel Fire... Our oldest son was born in Santa Fe and we really miss visiting. How glorious the town must look with spring-like weather.

Emily, Birds do seem to know.  They know when to relocate in time for weather changes.  Nice to have those unexpected moments to enjoy nature and recharge during a busy day.  Great photo.

Have a great weekend.

Good thought provoking post with some great comments from your AR friends! I've never visited Sante Fe but I've heard so many positive things about the city. What a nice picture too! I do hope you get to see more interesting birds that decide to stay. You are overdue for some consistent warm weather.

Kathy, LOL, I think we should write Mother Nature about your by-pass idea!

Gretchen, it's time to make a visit. Let me know when you are coming and I will send you my relocation list of hotel discounts.

Gloria, you are so right. They do know. We often forget to look or ask them. Hope you and Doug are doing ok as I saw there was more snow in PA!

Patricia, we are nearly neighbors given your base in Texas. Let me know when you are coming. You will not be disappointed and will be amazed at the number of Texans who have relocated here or own 2nd homes.

Hi Emily, love the photo and love the birds.  This morning I so enjoyed walking around my yard, drinking my coffee with three Boxers beside me and enjoying the new green growth popping thru in my gardens.  Have a happy spring week-end!

Hi Emily! Spring is on the way, and as you point out, no "to do" list for the birds! Time for me to change into work clothes, 'cause my wife has a list! :)

Emily just think of all the money we could save on cloths and shoes if we had outerwear like birds :)

Hi Emily, Thanks for asking.  We are south of the recent snow!! We are warming up and beginning to see the beginnings of from bulbs waking up!!  The birds are also making those spring calls.  They're happy for sure!

Hi Emily - I think the birds have some outdated information--spring hasn't arrived yet, and I am afraid it will be late this year (I'm going groundhog hunting).  If I were a bird, I think I would stay south for another month.  We are looking at 11 degrees tonight.  BRRRR.
