See Anasazi Petroglyphs in southern Utah
My husband discovered these petroglyphs on top of some huge sandstone boulders located in the Stone Cliff community in St. George, Utah.
Some of the images have faded away but these do remain. They are becoming worn away by the weather, due to intense sun, wind or pounding rains.
According to several sources, the Anasazi people existed in southern Utah, building small structures, farming the land and living in peace among themselves.
Bisected circles, spirals, animals and humans were among the many designs of their handiwork. Unfortunately these drawings will eventually disappear but at least I was able to capture them to share with all of you.

These petroglyphs were found at Stone Cliff in St. George, Utah, a gated community that sits high upon a sandstone bluff in Washington County.
