No More Excuses!

In Andy Andrews’ book, The Traveler’s Gift, he talks about 7 Decisions that determine personal success.

The first one deals with “THE BUCK STOPS HERE.”

· I will not let my history control my destiny.

· I accept responsibility for my past.

· I am responsible for my success.

· My decisions have always been governed by my thinking.

· I control my thoughts.

· I control my emotions.

· My thoughts will be constructive, never destructive.

I have also been reading Joyce Meyer’s book, Battlefield of the Mind.  This book deals with what is in our minds. What do we focus on? What we should focus on.

If our thoughts dictate our actions and our actions dictate habits and our habits dictate our character and our character dictates our destiny, I think the easiest thing to do, is to work on our own thoughts!

Hi Don, thanks for the heads up on this new book. Sounds like a must read for anyone in their own business...especially sales. The seven tips can also be applied in many areas of ones personal life as well.

A wise young man summed it up very neatly thousands of years ago, when he said, "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he". Once we take on the right thoughs, oh what a difference in our lives they make...

Cindy, thanks for stopping by. I will cover the other 6 Decisions in later posts. Keep an eye out!

Deb, I wish I could take more time to read. I'm too action crazy most of the time.

William, this is one of my favorite passages and it is sooo true! Thanks!

Don, Thanks for telling us about the two books - they will both go on my reading list. The seven decisions really caught my eye and I copied them and pasted them on my daily to do list. I'll be looking at them all the time now.
