It is that time again! Buy fertilizer for your yard, mulch those flowerbeds and plant some pretty flowers. First impression matters a lot! Don't kid yourself. Just because you are used to the dead shrubs in your flower bed doesn't mean the buyers will like them--it will just look like work to them. Make sure your yard is nicely mowed. I know...I know....If you aren't an outdoors type, this will not be a fun job for you. But, when those buyers walk up the sidewalk, they will be looking the flowerbeds. Have a nice table and chairs on your patio - you can get them at the discount stores for very little money. It will give the buyers the impression that you spend time having meals outside and relaxing. If you don't have a large yard, then buy some hanging baskets and fill them with flowers. Shepherd hooks work great for hanging your flowers when you don't have much room.
Buyers are out in full force again. So, don't wait until the last minute to get your yard in order. Remember, you only get one chance to impress these buyers.
