Loose Change In The Couch, Returnable Cans, Bottles, Empties.. And Rod And Gun Clubs.

You hang out with extended family members, sporting buddies most free time already so joining forces to buy a small Maine recreational property is a no brainer.

Everyone contributes a little to get a lot thinking. Sure many folks are struggling with bills from groceries, gas, kids braces, prom dresses and saving for college and retirement. But if a little of that discretionary spending is diverted to the state up here in the right hand corner of the country, Maine, suddenly your life gets a little brighter. Anticipation of heading up to Maine this weekend for a little rest and relaxation.

Buy a small piece of Maine land for around $4000. Put one of the nearby Amish low cost buildings on your Maine land.

Or if the gang, family you hang out with is skilled with their hands, build a small Maine recreation cabin on that land, getaway, retreat.

Heck, I've had small Maine land sales to folks who pre-fabricate the cabin in their own back yard. A few states away. Neat huh? His wife calls out it is time to eat dinner and he says, be right in, just finishing up putting in the cabin front window (nail gun sound, hammering stops.) Create the walls, bring them up on the weekend to bolt together in panalized fashion. Uncle Bob is a plumber, your brother in law Al is an electrician. Ziggy, your long time childhood friend works at a lumber yard, can get a discount on all the building products.

Have a group of fellows from Pennsylvania that formed a Rod and Gun club close to 30 years ago. We are in the process of selling the humble but memory rich cabin in Oxbow Maine. To another Maine real estate buyer thinking of taking the property baton and running with it. In the same fashion, low budget and with owner financing. Small scale Maine real estate with out all the zero places in the property price. You are the Maine ingredient in this throw money in a hat small scale investment in Vacationland. One that pays big dividends. Ready to get started? Maine, wake up, start the dream. Think small steps. I can help. All our properties in Maine are near water, lakes, rivers, ponds too!

Andy, You've developed quite a niche to promote.  So many folks go the same place year after year, why not own a place instead if the economics work?

Anita ... Low cost, no cost outdoor recreational options abound in Maine. Just need a small spot to make it happen.

L&B ... Many spend $1000 for that week long vacation in Maine renting a cabin or room and decide if that amount was channeled, funneled in to their own little hand made "Hilton", it just makes sense to own a small patch of dirt.

Cindy ... The ME propaganda beam is working (adjusting power up two more notches) You are getting sleepy, very sleepy but going to wake and start your dream in Maine. (finger snap sound)

Very good suggestion. Many of us wish we had a Maine retreat to share with friends and family.

Hi Andrew - It is amazing how much land and property you can buy in parts of Maine, such as your area, for so little money.

I guess if I start saving my nickels and pennies now and values keep dropping I can have a 2nd home in Maine:)
