Existing home sales rise again in January. Inventory is dropping. All A good sign !

Many people question whether we here in SW Florida have hit bottom yet and all I can tell you is look for the individual region not on just what the majority is seeing.

Many areas of the US have not hit bottom. What we all need to think about when we are referring to SW Florida real estate is it' s a different driving force behind it. We have the beautiful weather, beaches, fishing all year round not to mention the Future retirement groups that will continue to drive the area. We are blessed to live in such a great area that we were the first to see the bubble break but we are the first to be recovering nicely.

 

Take a look at the facts in the area not just what the overall forecast is. We are at the lowest inventory we have had since 2009 and many properties are seeing highest and best offers coming in. Properties that haven't seen much action in 3 or 4 months are going under contract. Many of us in SW Florida are seeing that more and more.
