Look what I found while out showing homes today in Fayetteville NC! Some would call this a weed...but today it is the prettiest flower that I have seen in a long time!

Could it be that we have seen the last of the cold weather?? I would have to say that I certainly hope so!! The feeling of the sun shining on my face warmed my soul....

Flower

I dont know about the rest of you but I am looking forward to fun in the sun! Hurry up Summer I am waiting... ~grin~

Oooooh, it's my favorite flower!  I know, I'm contrary, aren't I?  But I do love dandelions!  Was today phenomonal or what?  Of course, come August, we'll all be complaining about how hot it is . . .

Melissa...we have spring peepers popping out to the ground.  I hope a cold snap doesn't come along and kill what's already up. Can't wait until Spring!

The saying goes that when you can step on three of these at one time it is spring. Nice to see the bright yellow and dark green.

Melissa -- I am so looking forward to fun in the sun also.  It's nice to see some color. You're way ahead of us here in CT.  It's still very cold with lots of snow still on the ground.  At least we are headed towards the warmer weather, not out of it.

Wow! I took a photo of a flower that looks almost exactly like that in Colorado last summer. I can't remember what Russell told me it was called.  VERY cool!! Spring is COMING! Yayyy!

Melissa - We still have quite a bit of snow cover.  Forget flowers, I'd be happy to just see the grass.

Certainly we're out of the cold weather now, Melissa!

I've got flowers popping up all over our yard (mostly of the weed variety so far), and the trees are blooming as well!

Yay, spring!
