We have a new "almost Buyer/Seller" that are moooooving on to larger quarters...the arrival last fall of triplets made the house shrink and the parents want to take advantage of the great selection, prices and interest rates. At this moment, wallpaper is being removed, fresh paint applied and large furniture put into storage as we get the house ready for sale and will list shortly.
At this time, parents are the parent in shifts...taking turns doing everything....eating, sleeping...changing, feeding, bathing......with little time to themselves...each other or the daunting job of house hunting.
The calendar says....though sometimes I wonder...that spring is on the way....and that means more open houses and more homes on the market. The internet is a wonderful thing...virtual tours and pictures galore....inside and out...but sometimes as a buyer you need more. You want to actually see, feel and touch your favorites...look out the front door....imagine triple fun in the backyard.
Sooooo.....we are arranging a sitter while we go on an open house tour....and taking Mom and Dad on a much needed "field trip of open houses"....lunch and a little breather from 24/7 parenting....and a peak at what the future holds in a new home for the whole family. A great way to a more relaxing start to "happily ever after."
