Last Weekend in February 2011 in Charlotte NC Region- On the last Sunday of February 2011 it is 81 degrees! We have had the most beautiful weather the last two weeks. The leaves are coming out on the trees and everything beginning to bloom...the cherry trees, daffodils, pear trees, and more! We are fortunate to typically have a mild climate, but after a few unusually cold periods during the winter we are all so excited in the Charlotte NC Region to have such nice weather.
The last few weeks have had mostly warmer temperatures and allowed the Charlotte Region to really show off. Whether the town is Charlotte or those surrounding, such as Matthews, Pineville, Mint Hill, Concord, Kannapolis, Cornelius, Huntersville, Fort Mill SC, Marvin, Waxhaw, or Weddington-ALL are great locations enjoying the same wonderful end to winter the last two weeks with sunshine and temps in the 60s and 70s. Or 80s, such as today.
Everyone is at the parks, greenway trails, and on the streets. It doesn't matter your age or if you are a golden retriever, EVERYONE is happy to be outside. Including me, as soon as my open house is finished! There are wonderful Homes for Sale in the Charlotte NC Region. If you are longing for a milder climate and would like more information on the Charlotte Region call or email me. I can provide you with helpful information and I do enjoy my work since I LOVE this area!!!
Mary - Beautiful pictures of an early Carolina spring! A little cool out this morning, but still a nice day. Have a great weekend!
Thanks, Denise! It was beautiful, but I have to confess that I was in your area last Saturday evening for dinner....Beautiful there, too! The golf course at Pinehurst Resort looked a bit busy as I drove by.
Mary...Give me a call next time! Where did you have dinner??? Did you go to the Resort?
Beautiful pictures, Mary -- they definitely shout SPRING!! I was thinking of doing something similar from here, but haven't gotten around to it this year.
Thank you, Lottie! The weather is a little different today with rain, but I guess we need that in order for the flowers to continue to bloom. :) I hope your spring is going well (it is almost here).
Mary - Gorgeous Photos of Charlotte! Don't you just love this time of year!
Thanks, Carla! I really do. It is a beautiful time of the year and I am sure it is the same in Raleigh, too.
