There are such great new ways to reduce energy cost in your home!

If you're familiar with Georgia, you know that we have a short, mild spring and a sometimes brutal summer.  Now is a great time to think about inexpensive upgrades in your home that can save you big time and keep you cool.

Attic Fans (AKA Whole House Fans):  When I was growing up, there was no central air conditioning and our attic fan made for a great night sleep.  Many homes today no longer have installed attic fans as central air conditioning is now the "norm".

Installing an attic fan can save up to 30% in energy cost over the summer. These super fans can be purchased at Lowes or Home Depot for less than $200.  Attic fans work by drawing cool air into your home through the windows while forcing hot air out through your attic vents.

Attic Fans can drastically reduce the amount of time that your air conditioner runs in the morning and at night.

Installing attic fans is also an excellent purchase if you plan to resale your home.  Home buyers more and more are focusing on green energy and reducing cost.  This low cost added feature can easily increase the resale value of your home and make for a comfortable summer.

Looking to save even more on energy cost?  Check into Solar Attic Fans.
