As Christian I think we are called to spiritual warfare everyday. Unless you live in a cave it should be obvious the demons that are society sends against us each and every day. Fortunatately as it does for everything else the bible has something to say about what is expected of us.
ll TIMOTHY 2:3-4
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
Noone engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life;that he may please him that enlisted him as a soldier.
1 TIMOTHY 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life,to which you were also called and have confessed the good confessionin the presence of many witnesses.
God call us into the fight to defend our faith. Do we here his call?
EPHESIANS 6:11
Put on the whole armor of God, rhat you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
The armor of God is found in his word, If we do not spend sufficient time in his word we will be ill equipped for the spiritual warfare that we face every day. If we stay strong in the word of God HE will give us the pwer nd authority to cast the demons out of our life. And as we learn to cast out our own demons we will then be equipped to hit the ground running and battle the demons that confront us and those around us every day.
1CORINTHIANS 4:2
" MOREOVER IT IS REQUIRED IN STEWERDS THAT ONE BE FOUND FAITHFUL.
As in everything else if we are going to live a life of faith we must be found faithful in the eyes of the Lord, through obedience, through prayer through living in and sharing the gospel and through our faith and our part in spiritual warfare.
