Next Month there will be an event to show businesses and residents of Richmond how to have a sustainable and earth friendly city. The education will be welcomed and eye-opening. The event will take place at the modern De Jean Middle School located at 3400 MacDonald Ave. Sponsored by the Green Chamber of Commerce, the event will have Assembly Member Loni Hancock and the mayor of Richmond Gayle MacLaughlin who is Richmond first Green Party mayor.
