Whatever happened to Localism?
I woke up at 2:00 a.m. (which is getting to be more normal than I would like) and did what all Late-Night-Rainers do. I went to the computer.
Tonight, I decided to work on updating some of my old posts ~ the ones written back before I knew anything about links, tags and SEO.
From the Active Rain Dashboard, I clicked on Important Links: Localism, and I discovered a funny thing.
It seems to be the abandoned red-headed stepchild of the Active Rain Real Estate Network!
With one exception (the blue "e-mail me" link on the right) every link I clicked gave me this error message.
I figured it had to be me. So I clicked on Featured Communities to read other blog posts, only to find the same problem.
I clicked on Top Communities, Top Cities, Top Neighbors. In every case, the error message came up. I remember that I used to pay $7.00 per month to sponsor a community. I stopped doing that years ago, and I wonder if that's the problem. If so, then everyone I checked must have done the same thing, because I can't get anything other than the email links to work for any Active Rainer who appears on Localism.
