Ancient Cultures

Real Estate Agent with Frank Rubi Real Estate
My broker and I are going to visit an Chinese family in hopes of listing their home.  The acquaintance that led me to this particular family said I should bring a gift to them.  Seems that in Chinese culture you bring them a gift of health.  Things like vitamins and nuts etc.  This will be an interesting meeting tomorrow.  I can't wait to update my blog tomorrow.  I wonder if bringing things to every meeting would be a good idea?

Certainly not a bad idea. And anything with the number "8" in it. And not a "4." Cheers

John, you better not give them your card. Both phones have 8's.  My website OH! That one is on my card....

It is the same for East Indian families and many Asian continent people. It is just good manners to bring someone a gift the first time you enter their home.
