East Islip Gardens is a Senior Cooperative that is located at 215 East Main St, East Islip, NY 11730. It was built in approximately 1979. There had been some confusion and mis-information on the web, about the age requirements and whether or not they accept pets. The age limit had been over 60 years old but was reduced recently to be competitive in the senior market. The minimum age requirement is 55 years old. They do not accept pets.
The complex is conveniently located closed to shopping & transportation. There is a public bus stop right out front for ease of transportation. The complex has a social room, which is quite active and a laundry room, in the same area. It's a beautifully tree'd property that is quite relaxing!
