If you are thinking about buying some recreational land,and even land to build on...NOW is the time. Many sellers are willing to do short term contract for deed.
What this will do is get you into a property with less down that the bank wants down. It will allow you to purchase the choice property before the prices go up along with interest rates.
In just a few weeks the snow cover will be less and it will be time to look at the wooded parcels before the leaves hide all the terrain.
