Fourth Annual Ocean County Library FlowerFest
After record snow fall totals this winter, everyone is ready for spring and the fourth annual Ocean County Library FlowerFest will be the place to be

Lois J. deVries, a regional field editor and location scout for Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Media, will present "Cultivating the Inner Gardener."
Her illustrated talk will focus on how to create a personal space that is not only beautiful and healthy, but also provides a sanctuary from the hectic world. The presentation includes photos of gardens that hold special meaning for their owners and shows how they have included their own values and fondest memories into a garden rich in personal meaning.
Valerie Sudol, a career journalist who has served for more than a decade as The Star-Ledger's staff garden writer, will present "Keeping a Garden Journal"
Sudol will explain how keeping a garden journal is a valuable tool for gardening success as you track what plants you buy and how they grow in your garden.
FlowerFest will also feature displays from local garden clubs, horticultural societies, florists and environmental organizations. These groups will be on hand to answer questions, present demonstrations and showcase their activities and events for all ages.
