ACTIVERAIN: KODAK CHALLENGE 2011-GIFTS FOR CLIENTS
I know not everyone gives gifts at closing and even one AR member said his doctor doesn't give him a gift, not even his attorney. Well, this CHICA~ does! All it is to me is a: "Thank You" gift for choosing me as your Realtor (R) and a Welcome to YOUR HOME gift from ME as well.... Is it so hard to say, "Thank you for your Business"? I think one day.... One Realtor (R) said to himself/herself, "How can I have that client remember me for future Business? AH HA! Give them a Thank You gift that will keep them remembering you" And so gift giving.... BEGAN>>>>
I have been quite creative in my Thank You gifts, but by far my FAVORITE AND MOST POPULAR IS:
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SELECT ANNUAL PASSES TO BUYERS WITH CHILDREN. First of all, I am a DISNEY GAL myself and if I got a "Thank You gift" that was Disney related, I would be stoked!!!! TOTALLY STOKED!!! So, if they have two, three, or even four kids ALL the kids get an ANNUAL PASS>>> For the parents I put together a Disney Basket with Disney Dollars and tumblers and measuring spoons, spatula and cookbook. It makes it FUN for the entire family! I also enclose a personal note on DISNEY STATIONARY <of course> and write the following:
Katy & Jack, Enjoy your year at Disneyland with the kids and don't forget the "KODAK MOMENTS" because I would love an email with pictures of the kids through the year at Disneyland... I spend many days with my sons and "Mother's Day" every year at Disneyland with my family. I would love you to share your moments with "Your CA Realtor (R)" and friend too! This way, not only am I sending email drips, I am also getting emails from them as well... So, there is two-way traffic in communication! It works! and I absolutely love it!!! If, I get a referral from my clients, as I send a postcard three times a year, stating: if you know anyone that may buy or sell within the next 6 months, please list their name and email and I will contact them card. About half a dozen of them were clients this year that I had given Disneyland passes to. I then, RENEW their passes. I call them first and ask if they enjoyed their year at Disneyland. If, they did> I RENEW~ immediately. This is typically done when I have closed the referral. If, it passed the time... I send my Thank You for the Referral postcard, this mailer has a mulitple choice selection:
- RENEW DISNEYLAND PASSES
- DINNER FOR FOUR AT LAS BRISAS
- $150 REGAL THEATRE GIFT CARD
- TEE-TIME FOR TWO AT ALISO VIEJO COUNTRY CLUB
Of course, the higher value are the Disneyland passes, but not everyone is a Disneyland visitor like: THE SELINSKY'S..... So, they choose one of the others... Especially, if they already RENEWED, themselves.
[WE ACTUALLY RUN DISNEY 1/2 MARATHON'S, MARATHONS, HAVE TURKEY LEGS ON THANKSGIVING NIGHTS, TAKE> FAMILY PHOTOS FOR CHRISTMAS AND HAVE PREMIER GOLD PASSES FOR BOTH CALIFORNIA AND FLORIDA] Yeah! We are lil crazed! It's fun sending clients to "THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH" ;)

Also, I respond at one point to their emails with, "Make sure you take a family photo, so I can see"... When they do this, I always buy a Disney frame and make a copy of the photo and send it as a Christmas gift at the end of the year... I try to always stay in front of the client....
