Have you been seeing the word green all over town? I have. I have also been doing some significant research on LEED builders and other green certifications. I have learned that there is quite a bit of quality information provided in environmental trainings and that builders and homeowners can go to great lengths to improve the energy efficiency of their space as well as minimize the impact made on the Earth. I have also learned that green is today what low fat was 10 years ago... a buzz word.
Which is good because it means it's trendy which means more people are being made aware of these improvements. But there is some buyer-beware here. When you see the term green I highly encourage you to do your due diligence. Make sure you know exactly what is being considered green.
