Hi everyone my name is Patricia Ann Young and I am currently a Realtor for Keller Williams in the Great State of Texas in the city of Dallas! I am starting this Blog and or story if you want to call it that to talk about my "BIG CHANGE"! What is that you ask? I am preparing to move from Dallas TX to Charlotte, NC! I thought by doing this Blog I would get Great advice from other realtors who have made the "BIG MOVE" plus it would be a GREAT STRESS Reliever...or so I hope so!
This week was the first big move in that process! We put our house on the market. Now realtors you know how that goes!! And let me tell you I am getting a tast of what I tell my clients everyday. PLEASEEEE declutter (note to self..I have WAY to many Shoes) yes I said that! Take down the pictures, touch up paint, clean the carpets, move our unnecessary furntiure, clean out the closets, cut the lawn and landscape! We need DRIVE UP appeal!! I was running around like a mad woman barking orders at my husband..now before you men out there feel bad for him...don't! He is sooooooo excited to move I have never seen him move so quickley to do so much house work in a short period of time so we could get the house on the market..lol
Now comes the waiting part!! This is the first weekend it's on the market and we are, like other sellers hoping for that offer. Mean while its time to start finalizing the plans for once we do get an offer. (I will tell you about that in the next blog)
I am excited to move but sad at the same time. Sad to leave my current business partner Stacey Sauer Sad to leave all the great friends I have and the enviorment that I have know for 12 years. I am not scared of change, change is good it won't hurt me in the least. I look at this as "its my turn" My turn for a new business success, new friends and a whole new outlook! I look forward to hearing some feedback to see how some of you have handled a big move.
But for now its Business as usually. We are busy with buyers and sellers helping them find their dream. That is the Best Part of Real Estate right? And with me expanding to Charlotte I will be able to reffer my friends and clients to Stacey for the same Best service as always!
