Paying for Good Photographs?

Real Estate Agent

It's such a shame but all too familiar, a new listing appears on the MLS and the pictures are terrible. I always wonder why the agent doesn't pay closer attention to the importance of good pictures. It is a disservice to the client not to present their property in the best light. I have the same beef with cheesy flyers, regardless of the price of the home your client deserves the best quality you can afford. If the agent can't take good photographs, then pay a professional for the service. When your new listing appears on the MLS, it should be fabulous because your reputation depends on it!

Do you agree with me that quality photographs are important?

If you hire a professional photographer in your area to shoot a new listing, how much do you pay?

That is a beautiful photo. Looks like a home I would love to view.

Beautiful, well done photos are a must for Listings. It is definitely an added plus to have professionally done pictures and if the Listing Agent can't do that, then hire it done. - David

ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!! Here in BC the cost is usually between $200-$300 for photos and a 360 tour... and totally well worth the money... it makes it look good on MLS as well as any print marketing that you do.
