Myrtle Beach, SC is Growing!

By

More Myrtle Beach attractions are slated to open their doors in 2011, and I wanted to share my excitement with you!

My two favorites are "Pirates Voyage" dinner theatre at the former Dixie Stampede location, and Wonderworks which will be located at Broadway at the Beach.  I couldn't take another year of the Dolly Parton horse show, and I recall how much fun my family and I had at Wonderworks in Orlando, FL.  "Pirates Voyage" is tagged Fun, Feast, and Adventure. Wonderworks is an "amusement park for the mind".  As an expansion of the indoor facility, the adjacent Zipline and Ropes Course will be a fun experience for the whole family!

In addition to these new adventures, Myrtle Beach will be the new host of an all-new Legends in Concert, which will be located at the former Club Kryptonite location near Broadway at the Beach.  Legends in Concert showcases local "sound-a-like" musical talent from celebrity impersonators.  The star-studded lineup includes Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Tim McGraw, Celine Dion, Stephen Tyler, and Faith Hill--just to name a few.

My husband's favorite new addition is the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel and Jimmy Buffet's Landshark Bar & Grill Duo. This surfshack and boardwalk attraction will be a definite crowd pleaser.  The SkyWheel will feature 42 climate controlled gondolas, nightly light show, and fascinating beach or city views.  This is a fabulous addition to the newly designed downtown Myrtle Beach boardwalk.

If you're planning a summer vacation in Myrtle Beach, please be sure to add these hot spots to your "must-see" attractions list.  If you are considering relocating, buying a second home, or investing in Myrtle Beach, these are just a few more reasons why you would love calling Myrtle Beach home!
