Key West's Montessori Elementary Charter School is a charter elementary school. It is among the few elementary schools in Florida to receive a “GreatSchools” rating of 9 out of 10. If your child is musically inclined – this is a great choice!

• Poinciana Elementary School

Art classes make the world go around at Key West's Poinciana Elementary School, in the Monroe County School District. The school serves grades PK-5, and is among the few public schools in Florida to receive a distinguished “GreatSchools” rating of 8 out of 10.

• Sigsbee Elementary School

Another outstanding school in the Monroe County Public School district. Key West's Sigsbee Elementary School serves grades PK-5, and maintains an outstanding record of producing academically superior students.

• Gerald Adams Elementary School

Radio/video/multimedia classes are the highlight of the curriculum at Gerald Adams Elementary School, in the Monroe County School District.

• Horace O'Bryant Elementary School

If politics fascinate your child, you’ll vote to enroll here. Located within the Monroe County School District, Horace O'Bryant Middle School serves grades 6-8. It has received a “GreatSchools” rating of 6 out of 10, and its student counsel/student government-based classes are platforms for outstanding community and government leaders of the future.
