Nashville Lawn and Garden Show

Come Out & Join in the Fun at Nashville Lawn and Garden Show. Tennessee's largest, most popular gardening event, will return to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds this week. The show, which attracts more than 25,000 people from throughout the mid-South region, will be staged to the theme, Here We Grow Again. The 2011 Celebration of All Things "Green and Growing" will mark the shows 22nd anniversary at the Fairgrounds.
The 4-day event will feature an acre of live gardens, thousands of blooming flowers and plants, a floral design gallery, and 250 exhibit booths filled with horticultural products and services, gardening and lawn equipment, outdoor living decor, and a variety of plants, seeds and bulbs.
Rosalind Creasy, nationally acclaimed edible landscape expert, James Robyn, designer and builder of European-influenced natural swimming pools, and Anthony Archer-Wills, creator of water gardens throughout the world, are among the more than 20 speakers who will present free lectures. Homegrown horticulturists, the Davidson County Master Gardeners, will offer free demonstrations on gardening techniques and tips on growing specific flowers and plants.
