How do you fix an Internet Explorer Active Rain Log In Glitch?

GRRRRrrrr,,,, This has happened a few months ago and I fixed it but did I write it down? Nope.

When I submit my user name and password it logs me in but then the screen does not change so I cannot see anything or do anything.

Next glitch, I cannot insert my photos. I figured it had something to do with pop up blockers so I changed them around and then had this same problem plus created  the new problem above.

GROWL. I know why Riley Rover Growls and Howls. Right now it sounds like a good plan.

It is moments like this when I want to scrap the PC's and move to Macs and never look back. I'm on Safari to do this post FYI. Unfortunately, our contracts program necessitates Internet Explorer.

To fix the access problem on Internet Explorer, restore IE to factory settings and PRESTO you can then enter and blog away.

Cheryl - hmmm, not too sure, but this is where I'd go to try adjustments in IE...
Tools Menu > pop up blocker > pop up blocker settings
make sure *.activerain.com is listed as allowed

then, if still problems...
tools menu > internet options > security tab
"reset all zones to default level"

I would hope one of the two (or both) would fix your problem - I'll be watching to see... -c

Okay, I got back on and am trying the above. I got a photo inserted by holding the control key whenever there was a beep from the pop up blocker. I want to eliminate the need for thsi step next.

How did you get on line so fast to answer the question...wow!

Cheryl, hold on to the dogs. It appears you are getting some good advice. You might need to go into tools and delete some of your browsing history as well. Glad Craig is on board with you!

It's fixed! I reset IE to default settings and then got the pop up blocker settings corrected. Thanks!
