Sunday Photos: Attempting Spring. Lake Anne, Reston VA

Thank you Barbara. All of us are surrounded by so much beauty...I am trying to capture more of it instead of just walking by.

Rene, there were some crocus going to town but I would have had to trespass to get a good close-up. All our family daffoodills are late bloomers, they are only up 2 inches.

Bliz, We had snow flurries last night after hitting 60 during the day....what's with that. We are not in Colorado.

Thanks Craig, to do Lake Anne photographic justice the best time is on a warm summer evening, the restaurants have their umbrellas up, flowers are blooming and the last of the sun's rays are playing of the water and buildings.

Gerry, we are probably only 2 weeks ahead of you...it's coming.

Thanks Tony, The light was almost directly overhead in these shots so pretty flat in that area. I like to shoot when the sun is low in morning or afternoon, as you know that makes much better contrast. BUT...I wanted to use the time I had.
