Agent Feedback= why is that so difficult?

By

Ok, so your listing just had a showing..that's great.

Why is it agents have such a hard time providing feedback?

Our local showing service sends out the emails and the showing agents just needs to provide feedback. They have to answer a few questions abou the property...

Why would agents disregard this?

Do you provide feedback after showing a home?

One of the agents I work with was just describing this situation in the antique shop on Friday.  She believes that a good deal of "common courtesy" is rather uncommon these days.  It isn't hard to do apparently, just a couple of clicks these days.  It is a head-scratcher.

One thing that would help is that when requesting feedback a picture of the home be included. If I show homes to several clients on a weekend the homes become a blurr and when I get emails asking for feedback I have to go back to the MLS to look for that one home-- it is time consuming.

I always give feedback (usually upon request)...for me it is courtesy....its not hard and I am willing to give my 2 cents.....

Great idea about the picture-who remembers an address after showing ten homes that day. Now implement our feedback.

Ron, this is my personal pet peve.  Because I showed ten homes yesterday, I am obligated to get ten phone calls or answer ten emails from agents wanting "feedback".  I show a lot of homes in the course of a week and I am not going to remember them all. If my client is interested in your home, I will be calling you. Otherwise, please don't give me just one more thing to do, which is answer your email or phone call about "feedback".  It's just how I see it, sorry.

Rich - I do provide feedback, but I have a heck of a time receiving it.

I'm a little surprised by some of the responsees... My cleints alway will ask for feedback and yes I do post a picture...

I always jot down notes on the MLS sheets both positives and negatives..makes it easier when I give my feedback.

Thanks for your thoughts
