We need cheerleaders singing our praises to garner future business. When listing it is important to do a great pricing presentation. A listing with the proper market position should net a happy client because it sold, sold quickly and for close to full price. We need to stay connected to the cheerleaders we create. Don't love 'em and leave 'em. We can't treat past clients and other agents as people we just want to get to the settlement table and forget while driving to the bank. There must be follow-up because testimonials speak much louder and clearer than our designations. Reaching out to those who decided to work with another agent by showing we still care about their needs and not just a commission can lead to referrals aspecially after their new agent loves 'em and leaves 'em.

It is so important to build a relationship with your sellers from the listing presentation to the end of the transaction, and beyond. I have found that this is the best way to assure referrals.
