Are you in touch with the new MARKETPLACE?

Services for Real Estate Pros with Hot Shots Digital (HotShotPros.com)

Real Estate Marketing is ever-changing, and it seems that every time that a new technology or method hits the market, many are slow to respond.  It seems that many are reluctant to change because they have to learn something new, or they have the mindset that they'll let someone else work out the details to make sure that it works and is not just a fad or passing trend.

Some of the things that have come about in the last few years are:

  1. Blogs
  2. NewslettersMarketing for Real Estate with blogs, social media, virtual tours and more
  3. HD Virtual Tours
  4. Social Media Marketing
  5. Social Media Networking
  6. Search Engine Marketing
  7. High Resolution Digital Printing
  8. QR Codes
  9. Mobile Listings
  10. Property Specific Websites
  11. Local Directory Optimization
  12. Listing Check-In programs
  13. And many more, but I don't want to bore you.

Are you one of those people that are using all of these?  Or are you waiting to see which items go the way of the "8-track tape player" before getting involved?

If you aren't in touch with the new marketplace, you may be wasting valuable time.

I urge you to get involved, try some of these things out, and ALWAYS track your results.  All of these methods are in use today by the nation's top real estate professionals.  By not using the newest trends and methods to market yourself and your listings, you may fall too far behind to catch up and market your brand effectively.

What do you have to lose?

Strauch,  this is a great list.  I am happy to say that I have embraced nearly all of these.  The only thing that still escapes me are QR codes.  I get how they work, I just have not yet implemented them.  They seem to be catching on slowly though.  I'll bet in about a year I'll be trumpeting about how much I love them!

Yes this is a great list and a tall order if one has not yet begun to implement these.  I am familiar with most, but not all.

Thanks Kimberly!

Thanks Jennifer!  That's great that you're doing most of these.  Here's another tip for you...  use "HCARDS" in your site and even on some blogs.  Google LOVES them, and they will help you get found locally!  There are many different code generators to make them.  All you have to do is copy and paste to your site code, or even your blog code.  Here's a link to one: http://microformats.org/code/hcard/creator

I hope this finds you well, and brings you much success!

Thanks Tony,  you're right... it can seem daunting, and many times it is.  However, if you concentrate on doing one item at a time and set a date for completion (a week or two) for each item, you WILL see results.

To ALL:

This is just a short list, but they are all things that can be done with very little experience and tech know how.  If I actually published the action plan for what I do for commercial retailers, you would go cross-eyed!  I only know this because I go cross-eyed daily! lol
