Baby Bat

Last Spring I found this very tiny baby bat in my yard.

He climbed up and got between 2 chunks of bark on my large Live Oak. He hooked his claws into the tree, swung upside down, and hung out until dark.

Cutie. I have been there to see the bats as they come out of the bat cave in Austin by the 1000's Quite an impressive sight.
